Hi Dr. Lam, I have fairly low blood pressure but, feel as though I need more magnesium. I bought some glycinate as I read it will build your stores up. I plan on getting tested but for now I would like to know how to take it till I get tested. My pressure with a wrist pressure machine is about anywhere from 90 to 100 over 58 to 65. I take iron first thing when I wake up wait 2 hours then I take trace minerals in orange juice which has 250mg. magnesium with the rest of my vitamins and oils. I tried taking glycinate in the afternoon 100mg. of elemental Doctors choice and then again before bed time. I'm not sure how to explain how I felt. I could have just been anxious but, I felt as though my heart beats were slower and my pressure was a little lower. I just took my pressure and it was 91 over 60 64 heart beats. 3:18 pm. Is this okay to take magnesium with a pressure this low? or should I take a different kind of magnesium? Thanks a bunch!
