Re: Parasites vs Protozoa, help with yellow stool

You are welcome. The underlying infection creates most of the oxidative stress through the immune system activation (nitrogen oxides, superoxides etc)

Vitamin C is one of the best, use at copious amounts (e.g. 60mg is not going to do much) buffered C is better since it is pH neutral rather than straight ascorbic acid which is more acidic.

Vitamin E (d-alpha) is another great one. Plenty of good spices such as turmeric etc.

Use baking soda works as well since it is very alkaline so it raises pH levels quickly. Baking soda is a bicarbonate which you body naturally produces to reduce acidity. It is these acids that makes you feel horrible. Watch the sodium intake if you dealing with high blood pressure. Taking some potassium will balance out the sodium. Magnesium would be another good choice since it is probably low due to the adrenal stress created by the infection. Use a quality form such as UltraMag or Mag Lysinate. Increasing Vitamin D will help immunity, mag absorption and neurological health.

Treatments for protozoa vary, the most reliable perhaps are the prescriptions which is a varied protocol. You can see pptu.lefora.com for some ideas or reply and I can list some.
