Feel crazy! Dr is NO help!

Ok, so I had my Mirena removed one week ago today. It was my second one so I had Mirena a little over 10 years. My 1st one gave me NO problems, I was the poster child for it, I absolutely loved it. After having my 2nd one placed, I started having some issues (very erractic periods, horrible menstrual migraines, irritable/moody, etc). I love my gyno but he seemed to brush off any of this being related to my Mirena....so I have dealt with it for another 5 years. The day after having my Mirena removed (last Thursday), I started feeling bad, nothing in particular at 1st, just a general "blah" feeling.....well that changed over the next few days. I have had a headache almost everyday (not migraine level but close), nausea, achy, very tired, no drive to do ANYTHING, & today I had a severe spell of dizziness to the point I almost fell. Oh, & this morning I locked myself in the bathroom & cried like a baby!

I called my gyno's office & explained some of what was happening & asked could it possibly be from having my Mirena out, they were adamant that it had nothing to do with it. I started researching & I am seeing that I am 1 of 100's of women who are having the same issues after Mirena removal! At least now I know I'm not going crazy & losing my mind. How long does this last? I need a light at the end of this tunnel! Tweet
