Nebula6 You are smart!
Your observation is correct.
But, try to expand your definition beyond the small intestine ( beyond crohns disease ).
How about any inflammation of the digestive tract?
the most common are
- stomach ulcer
- duodenal ulcer
- IBD , inflammatory bowel diseases: crohn's disease & Ulcerative colitis)
But, to get peeling lips, you don't even have to have full clinical inflammation.
It can be low level inflammation, subclinical.
Hard to diagnose.
And, what is the inflammation of the digestive tract caused by?
Junk food, sugar, alcohol, drugs, use of
Antibiotics and use of other medications and other chemicals.
In other words, it is caused by dysbiosis, or dysbacteriosis.
In other words, it is caused by a serious damage to the microbiota.
To cure it, you have to cure microbiota.
Anything else you do is just a bandaid.
Leaving your lips alone will only work for people who's microbiota is not damaged seriously, and who's microbiota can repair itself naturally.
That would be maybe one out of 50 people here.
These odds are good for some people (2%) and not good for the others (98%-99%)
