I recently started working at a glass plant where we make fiberglass..well you know I really dont like the idea but a girls gotta do what she has got to do . the money is good and and the job isnt bad .. except today my boss put me on a cleaning mission where I had to go up to the second level and use the air hose and blow the fiberglass off of all the equipment to down below ..well it of course went airborne and I inhaled a lot of it I think ..my chest feels heavy and I am coughing and cant really take a deep breath without pressure .. I need my job ok..I tried to wear a mask that I found cause noone there wears em that I have seen but it fogged up my safety glasses so much to the point I couldnt see so I had to take it off ..ugh! when it comes out wet it is no problem.but when it gets dry it gets nasty and covers everything .. I came home took a shower and had to wash my face 3 times and I still feel like I got glass in my skin ! there are people that have worked there for over 10 yrs with no problems .how I dont know but this just seems hazardous to me on all levels ! any advice on how to detox from this stuff ? I have allergies and a history of asthma anyways so I really dont need this but if I had told my boss no then he would have told me to just go home and not come back as I am still a temporary employee holding out for full time .. started aug 25th by the way
just wondering if IF 1 and 2 would work for that and or a clay bath to detox the skin ???
