Thanks White Shark and Gatorkea for your responses. No I have never done the nutritional balancing program. I really don't buy into the whole premise of nutritional balancing as a complete cure, although I do think it could be beneficial. My main interest is curing the source of the problem, when the body is healthy, it can keep all your minerals in balance by itself as long as you have a proper diet.
I think that some of the things White Shark suggested can be very good, I researched a bit and marshmallow root, slippery elm can be helpful, good foods are asparagus, cumcumber, pumpkin/sunflower seeds. There are some herbs that are considered good for the kidneys but also have diuretic properties. These could be okay but should be taken with care if your minerals are already out of whack, diuretic herbs could make that worse.
