Re: Producing CS with different settings (findings)

Hi sukhoi50,

Glad to see you're still experimenting and working at your CS production method. I've read through your notes and so I'd like to take this opportunity to share some data of my own in hopes of providing you with helpful information on matters:

Start of Electrolytic process: Maximum Voltage / No load(mAh)
End of Electrolytic process: Minimum Voltage / Full load(mAh)

Voltage and Amperage are proportionate to the load. As the load goes up(conductivity), the Voltage drops. You may have observed this if you monitored your voltages at the electrode. However, if you monitor voltage prior to your current control, you won't see the proportional drop in voltage.

That being said here are a few points that might prove useful:

a) One rule of thumb is to avoid dipping bellow 9v so as to preserve the integrity of the Eletrolytic process.
b) Heating your water near OR at boiling does several things. 1) it reduces free oxygen in your solution, thus improving conductivity. 2) it discourages the formation of oxidation, thus creating a cleaner solution. 3) It promotes the reduction of Silver Ions into metallic particles. 4) It increases the saturation point of your solution. 5) Is accelerates production.
c) I've found the presence of metallic taste to be in direct relation to oxidation. However, when I took increased measures to avoid oxidation I discovered that the solution would have very little taste even in higher than average concentrations 20+ppm.

Hope this helps.
