I cannot speak for anybody else, but I can offer you the explanation that people these days seem to lack the ability to focus, and take notice of forum headings. For example, as with 186736, posting something on a forum that has nothing to do with the forum's subject heading, your posting also does not relate to the subject of this forum, which is "Webmaster Support and Suggestions", yet you have not made any supportive nor suggestive statements. I'm starting to think, this is an epidemic.

I'm still trying to figure it out myself, why people so very often want to post off-topic messages in places the messages do not belong.

Do you think they are maybe, just trying to get attention ?
