Have you noticed, more and more people can't seem to focus ?

Are people losing their ability to stay focused on a topic and discuss it rationally at length, instead of short shallow blurbs on a plethora of different topics, so the sum total of all that they do, amounts to a thin veneer shell of understanding of 1000 different topics, which is essentially next to worthless ?
