Does candida cause GERD and silent reflux?

Hi, I was wondering if candida causes reflux and GERD symptoms? I have battled candida on and off for years and recently I have had some strange symptoms which seems to be digestive issues. I get chest discomfort and breathlessness after eating and since a bad case of bronchitis a couple of months ago which unfortunately required antibiotics, I have had a scratchy dry throat and my ears block on and off. I also have a lot of post-nasal drip. I have been reading on the internet that these are all symptoms of silent reflux.

I also am convinced, mostly because symptoms worsened after the the antibiotics, that my candida is probably more prolific than usual, could all these symptoms be caused by the candida? Tweet
