City work crew.............

A man was sitting on his front porch and saw a city truck drive up and park. Two men got out an one began to dig a hole. When he was done they waited awhile and then the other guy filled up the hole.
They moved down the street and did the same thing again.
When that one was done they moved up the street and did it once again.
Wondering what the hell they were doing, the man went over and asked them why they were digging and filling holes like that over and over on his street.
One worker responded "Oh, the guy that plants the trees called in sick today." Tweet
