I started drinking wheatgrass shots because I heard through a friend that wheatgrass has many health benefits. Wheatgrass is a grass in the wheat family that has many nutrients, including chlorophyll, which is what gives plants their green color. I purchased wheatgrass powder online and decided to give it a try.
I mix a small amount of the powder with a little bit of water in a glass and stir. Then, I drink it down quickly, like a shot. The taste is not very pleasing to me, although it is bearable. However, wheatgrass may be mixed with juice to cover up the taste. I have also made smoothies and added wheatgrass as an ingredient.

While I was originally taking wheatgrass shots for health reasons, I noticed something different about my sleep since I had started drinking the wheatgrass shots. In the past, I would lie awake for hours, having trouble falling and staying asleep. I have taken numerous natural supplements that have worked initially, however, they seemed to be pretty short lived and my sleep issue would return pretty quickly. Still, nothing has helped me sleep as much as wheatgrass.

Ever since I have been drinking wheatgrass, at least five times a week, my sleep has been incredibly improved. Even though I did not initially take it for sleep issues, wheatgrass has been the best natural sleep remedy out of anything I had ever tried. I did not even know that wheatgrass could have such an affect on my sleep. I was unaware that this was one of the benefits of taking it.

Within the first week of drinking wheatgrass shots, I noticed I was falling asleep so quickly and easily and staying asleep until I had about seven or eight hours of sleep. At first, I did not know why I was sleeping so well, so I did not attribute it to the wheatgrass I was drinking. However, looking back now, I realize it had to be the wheatgrass. There are no other changes I have made in my life or any other supplements I am taking to help my sleep, so the only thing I could trace it to, were my shots of wheatgrass.

Since that first week, I am still able to fall asleep and stay asleep more easily when I take my wheatgrass shots. It has been almost two months now that I have been taking these shots and my sleep has improved dramatically since I’ve started taking it. I decided to do some online research to find out if other people have had a similar experience and I found it that it had also helped other people with their sleep issues as well.

I will continue taking wheatgrass shots for sleep because it feels good to actually be able to fall asleep so easily and stay asleep throughout the night. If you are experiencing sleep problems or insomnia, you may want to look into taking wheatgrass and see if it helps you as well.
