Yes, quite expensive.

I had 14 Amalgams replaced with composite plus 3 extractions to get rid of root canals. The extractions came about 2 years after having paid for the RCs to be done in the first place. All three were crowned RCs and out-of-pocket cost me thousands each .... but it was not long after that I began to learn about the reality of mercury and mainstream dental. While in the chair for an exam one day I asked dentist about mercury and without hesitation he quietly said "i'm not going to discuss that" and quickly changed the topic. Among other things that was a profound confirmation. The thing is, I liked him as far as doctors go, friendly, nice demeanor, but that was my last visit with him and within 12 months I had begun seeing an alternative, bio-conscious dentist and the Amalgams were coming out.
