Can activated charcoal chelate amalgam filings

I am having strange tension behind jaw while taking activated charcoal with flaxseed for bowel cleanse.
Can it be that it is chelating metal from my Amalgam filings? I have three currently. Tension appeared on the right side, behind jaw below ear. I took a pause from the cleanse few day and after I started it again tension appeared in the same spot on the left.
From what I know activated charcoal is not absorbed, so how could it chelate on any other place except bowels?
Beside this tension I am getting really tired and with foggy mind.
