they've gotten control of it for now... meaning they fixed what was causing the overgrowth - be it: unbalanced flora from Antibiotics , bad diet, nutrient deficiencies (my main problem), steroid use etc.
i get what you're saying about speculating on the cause of asthma.. it's very hard to prove candida overgrowth of the lungs because it's not like anyone coughs up freakish roots and lab testing mucous is tricky because it only finds it in the yeast form and within what they consider "normal" amounts. it's also likely that Grizz's candida/asthma was caused by adrenal imbalance that was fixed with his supplementation... so "iodine cured my candida" could be a blanket statement for it fixed whatever was causing it. who knows...
unless someone has a vested interest in sending you to an off site link.. like because they want to sell you something, i don't see why anyone would come to a health forum and make it up about being helped...
he has nothing to gain by people trying it. when people have tried everything else, what do they have to lose? maybe it will work... maybe not. he's no worse than half the other people running around here telling people that doctors are trying to kill them so they should take DE because it cuts worms up in the gut.
