All signs of infection, sensitivity to light is called photophobia which occurs with infection. I am thinking a gastro infection but you need to test with the right labs.

Hair thinning and loss is due to nutrient deficiency including protein loss. Infection presents major challenges to the body and it is important to mitigate this with increased nutriton.
