Some doctors and patients are close minded..................

Yes Corey - you are an exception as far as not putting your health into doctors hands (like they´d like us to do. I feel exactly the same way and believe it or not it was my-hubby (a doctor!) who made me realise this truth years ago, that my good health was my responsibility. He also distrusted pills and I caught on fast! He was a good doc - another exception!

My Dad who has been suffering alot from shingles since the spring (poor DEAR) unfortunately is also one of them that believe in docs. He belongs to the generation that were "forced" (cannot think of a better word!) to believe not to think for themselves and have total faith in their docs. Now he is suffering from the itchy after-math of the shingles and is very slowly getting better. Would you or your wife know of a remedy for the itch? I´ll pass it on, even if he´s not prepared to give it a go. Who knows - he just may!
