Ideal Diet

Hehehe, "Ideal diet", eh? (I'm assuming that in using the word "diet" you mean to say regular eating plan.) Of course, the best diet is the one that nourishes your body well, bringing health and life.

In a perfect world, my idea of an ideal diet would be plenty of fresh fruits and veggies (affordable and pesticide-free, of course - better yet, that I grew myself!), free-range chicken, beef, and lamb, fresh eggs and goat's milk, plenty of clean fish (I'm now following the Biblical guidelines for eating meat), and I would grind my own grains for making my own bread (but where I live there is no whole grain to be had without tremendous cost for shipping). Brown rice, nuts, flax/olive oil, and beans would of course be a part of it. Yoghurt and butter in moderation. Sugars such as sucanat and honey, again in moderation.

But my REAL problem is not so much what I eat but how much. My ideal diet would be that I would eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full, and eat only as much as my body really needs (when I figure out how much that is, I'll let you know... hehe).

The best answer I really have for you is that I want to eat in a way that pleases God. Since I believe all of life is an act of worship, then my love for Jesus Christ should be reflected in how/what I eat. Does any of that even come close to answering your question?? God bless and fast on!

Freedom You
