Please realize I'm not trying to attack you or make you feel like you have lost your salvation or anything like that. I could not remember Nash...only that it had something to do with Finney. Perhaps I should be asking your brother these questions instead of you since it was his idea....but you are the one I know here and not him. I'm not saying you did anything wrong when you went to see the grave. Just be aware of what is taking place...because one simple visit could lead to laying on graves or placing bones on a sick person to heal with. One thing can lead to another.

Give thought to why anyone would just go to a gravesite to show respect as to someone who would pray for God to give them the spirit or power of a person who is dead. It's not the same. It's fine to admire someone who is deceased and think well of them, but they are no longer there. Edit: Catholics believe that they can speak to to the dead and the dead can do things on their behalf. Are you wanting us to believe that is true too? Are the believers who are dead all walking the earth and not in heaven with Jesus? Why do we need their help when we have the Holy Spirit?
