Well, it's actually good for people to be aware of MSDSs. But they can often seem very alarmist: the MSDS for many common medicines or supplements would make them out to be poisons. And even more amusingly, California laws are so contrived that chemical lab suppliers just put a Prop 65 warning on EVERYTHING. If you buy ultra high purity USP sodium chloride from a lab supplier - and I have - it will say on the side something like "Warning, this product contains a chemical known to cause cancer to the state of California". Ridiculous, but it is what it is.
SSKI drops are quite safe if properly diluted before consumption.
