Help! Eczema/allergies/asthma
Hi All,
I've been reading forums on here for quite a while, but have decided to write out what is going on with me and maybe someone can help. I'm 28/female and have been suffering asthma/allergies/eczema my whole life. Some years are better than others, but recently (last 2 years) have been worse than ever. About 6 months ago I went in for allergy testing, and now I am on a daily steroid puffer, ventolin as needed, and have been taking anti-histamines (Claratin) every day. Allergy testing determined I am allergic to pretty much everything( all environmental), although no
food allergies came up.
My main problem right now is the eczema. I developed it around my eyes, mouth and on my hands. It has never been in those spots before. It is SO uncomfortable and painful, and I just cant figure out what triggers it. The skin on my eyelids and fingers is so dry/thin and sensitive. I cannot use soaps/shampoo's/face washes and have been trying a variety of all natural products, with no changes. It goes away for a bit, then comes back what seems to be at random. Usually the asthma and eczema flair up at the same time.
I am always tired, foggy and can be quite moody. I would say I'm about 10 lbs overweight and i just can't muster the energy to do anything bout it. Basically just feeling like crap all around and I'm tired of it.
The other part of this is that I have a 2 year old, who has also been 'diagnosed' with asthma & also suffers from eczema on the back of his legs.
I am hopeful that a diet change will help. Not sure which 'diet' to follow though. Considering the Candida diet, wondering if anyone else has had success with this. I don't know if the eczema, asthma and allergies are all related or what is my best option? Please help if you can.
Thanks
