Brushing teeth with sunflower oil and oil pulling
This is what happened this morning:
I had not been able to to get any toothpaste from my bottle and thought I would brush my teeth with Sunflower oil (unrefined) instead of toothpaste. I had had poured a full amount into a tablespoon and took it into the restroom to brush my teeth (a small cup would have probably been more appropriate). Anyway I then first dipped the toothbrush head bristles into the oil but then decided to soak the entire brush head in in the oil which I achieved by rolling the brush head around in the spoon. The result from brushing my teeth in this way was not bad. I then flossed and I thought about dipping my floss into the oil and the floss went in smoothly between the first two teeth I put it between but then it lost its slipperiness. Afterward I brushed my tongue with no oil. I still had a good amount of unrefined sunflower oil so I swished all of it around in my mouth for 15 minutes and then spat it out. Has anyone done this in the order I have described.
Perhaps not exactly but somewhere in the ballpark?
What are the improvements that I could make?
Is there a point to oil pull after brushing teeth with unrefined sunflower oil? (did I partially oil pull by brushing my teeth the way I did?)
Has anyone experimented with brushing their teeth with just unrefined sunflower oil?
