Re: Glucose feeds Breast Cancer cells.

Normal cells rely on oxidative phosphorylation occurring in mitochondria for metabolism. Cancer cells have an abnormal level of glycolysis occurring in the cell cytoplasm, thus suffer from a metabolic disorder. From all the research papers I've been able to access, I'm almost convinced that a cancer cell has dysfunctional mitochondria (Metformin is a mild mitochondrial toxin). Mitochondria of cells are responsible for the process of apoptosis or natural programmed cell death(apparantly not common knowlege), along with being a cells power plant(s). High levels of citric acid inhibit glycolysis and may restore the kill signalling mitochondria send to destroy defective cells. It is my belief (I did not originate the idea) that mitochondria invaded cells some time in the past. Prior to colonization those cells used glcolysis for their energy production. Mitochondria should inhibit glycolysis in cells if the theory is true. In canceer cells they either are damaged and thus unable or the glcolysis gene(s) are on full power and the Mitos are just overpowered. A compound, 3-Bromopyruvate, also a gylcolytic inhibitor, like citrate, has been used in conjunction with chemo agents on chemo-resistant cancers. Those cancers are no longer resistant to the Chemo agents used. The compound is currently in trials to see if it is effective alone as a glycolytic inhibitor against certain cancers.

Reducing Sugar intake in an attempt to starve cancer isn't really effective in treating cancer. There is evidence showing links between diabetes, auto immune disorders, along with other disorders and Cancers. Also Mediterranean type diet and Diets high in citrus fruits statistically have lower incidences of cancer.

Dr. Bucay, a doctor in Mexico, is having success in treating cancer patients with commom citric acid , orally. He also seems to have originated the use of citrate in cancer treatment, and
I'd credit him with the concept of using glycolytic inhibitors to treat cancer. IMO, should take 5g/day of citric acid (plus an acid reducer if necessary). It is harmless, cheap, and again IMO, the best non Medical establishment, treatment for cancer that I've ever researched, based upon old school, pre DNA, advent of genetics, Science. Otto Warburg was a pretty smart dude.

In dealing with cancer events in my family. I'm convinced that your friendly neighborhood oncologist doesn't understand cancer at all and just follows the usual dumbed down protocols that Modern medicine uses to to treat it.

In Summary: The use of an appropriate glycolytic inhibitting compound should end cancer.

Citric acid. Not your fathers acid.
