This quote is from ICU's post on 5/10/14, "For Albendazole, recommend Valbazen suspension rather than tablets. Its formulation provides more consistent uptake rate & bioavailability. Search at EBay: Valbazen". Valbazen is available at farm stores.
It's true that medicines must be absorbed before they will work. Malabsorption has multiple causes. From my personal experience, I took Albenza nearly a month with limited results. Then for constipation issues, I took 2-1/2 tablespoons of castor oil. The blockage was resolved. In addition, I passed a huge mucoid plaque. The difference in medicine absorption was staggering. I don't feel that everyone has this thick plaque, but some of us do; and absorption of every kind is affected. In addition, this mucosa harbors the "big" parasites, protecting them from medicines which should kill them.
You could try the castor oil first (in case you have the plaque), then switch to Valbazen. I take the Valbazen in a little milk to mask the chalky taste.
