Antibiotics Affect Lifelong Immunity

While this is not new news, it's always good to see more research backing up the fact that antibiotics suppress immunity. When we think of antibiotic use, we have to think in terms of the microbiome and its significance towards health. Wiping out the entire microbiome for months and permanently altering the composition of the bacterial flora isn't going to be a good thing for anyone.
It only makes sense that antibiotics are associated with some of the biggest threats to human health on the planet, such as antibiotic resistant infections and metabolic diseases like obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
