Red Stuff from Enema

So I just did my first enema (water enema) today and I expelled a lot of what looks like triangular pieces of red pepper but I haven't eaten anything that would resemble it. Does anyone know what it is?

Also is the stuff you expel supposed to smell really really putrid? I can still smell it coming from my butt and this is after taking two showers. :/
