Teeth dying and is it from Vegetarian Diet?
I've been a Lacto Vegetarian for over 2 yrs now & am a Type O Blood. So I can eat dairy but not eggs or eggs in anything.
I always had good teeth and went regularly to the dentist. In his most recent X-ray it showed a lower rt. tooth "suiciding" as he called it, and at some point would need removing and a permanent bridge put in.
Well today, the tooth next to it lost half the front lower enamel, exposing the root. OMG! What will be left I fear and if it's too late and damage already done.
This is awful! My parents long ago spent good money on orthodontics and my teeth and smile were always my blessing. I have to speak in public and missing teeth won't cut it in our society.
Teeth, I know are a sign of health. Mine look all shadowy now and like the calcium and enamel are compromised. It makes me wonder what else is going on with my bones as well...
Suggestions anyone? All I talk to that are vegetarians and even Type Os say they have no problem.
Even as clean as I keep my teeth and gums, the plaque returns in minutes, Incredible!
My friend(now deceased after nearly 80 yrs old)was a veg. and over a period of 4 yrs (he only told me a few mos. ago after I'd been on this)he lost all his teeth--they just cracked and exploded one by one. And he had them all removed and got dentures. This I only learned long after the fact.
He said the trick is to daily alkalize with lemon juice and water and baking soda...Any thoughts on this whole thing? I need help and fast!
Can enamel grow back? What about remineralization?
