What are these random white spots near my ankle?

Hello everyone . I am need of some big help! I have no idea why, but suddenly white spots have started showing up in my legs!! I have had them for about a year. I really really hope that it isn't a severe condition.. I have pretty tan legs and the spots look like random spots of skin that hasn't seen the sun in a while.
The spots are near my ankle, sorry it's not very noticeable in pictures but looks extremely different in person.
