Lugol iodine injection for sebaceous cyst?

I have had success using Lugol's w/DMSO topically for jawline cyst treatment in the past.

Recently I had a new cyst form along the neckline of my beard that is small but stubborn. It is softening with the same treatment, but I'm wondering if a few injections of 2% Lugol's, say 0.15-0.2 cc using an insulin syringe directly into the cyst would accelerate the treatment?

I have read a few excerpts from very old medical journals where Lugol's was injected w/o side effects, but I see none used for cyst treatment.
