I have to agree with you partly. Carbs are not the demons they've been turned into. But neither are fats. they key is moderation and variety. We look for a simple explanation where we can eat way more than we need. Eating less fats or no carbs will solve the main issue which is the absence of moderation in how we eat - we no longer eat when we're really hungry. We eat because of habit and for pleasure. And the lack of exercise and activity!
