Never heard of such an approach here, not been tried I believe. Of course a lot of water is a relief on the kidneys, which are really challenged when one detoxes. But generally speaking, people here tended to say we are too mineral/antioxydant deficient to go for a gull water fast. What SHellley used to advocate was a liquid diet -
Breakfast: raw egg(s) and vanilla
Lunch: broth
DInner: soup
Along with the antifungals and your usual supplements.
One of the key stage I find is to reestablish mineral (cal/mag/zinc) equilibrium. Water alone will not provide that.
