Well most likely it's a roundworm family member. Whipworm is a part of the roundworm family so ICU roundworm protocol address this type as well. It could be a whipworm or any other member of a roundworm family such as Ascaris dep on it's development time. Unless you pull out alive one you still somewhat guessing. The main thing here is to know which family he belongs to and use specific treatment accordingly.
