Purging for dientamoeba testing?

Hi. I'm going to test for dientamoeba and I want to get it right since I'm only getting to do one sample.

I'm thinking about doing a water enema and make my stool sample of that. Would that be a good or a bad idea? Could the water destroy the dientamoeba?

What should I do to maximize the chance of discovering dientamoeba in a test? I would so need good advice on this.
