Four months ago, I suggested that your specimen was a Botfly Larvae: http://curezone.info/forums/fm.asp?i=2160363#i

My subsequent research on Myiasis Fly Larva opened a new can of worms!   And it looks like I misidentified your specimen...I was close, but no cigar! (lol)

Your photo is very similar to the larva shown below. For life cycles & more photos:
