I applied 4 drops of Lugols 5% in 1 ounce of water for my Dandruff. The dandruff disappeared like magic! However the hair did not get restored. It just became a slightly less color of gray. I think what happened is that the Iodine simply stained the hair.

So Iodine is a YES for dandruff and a no for restoring hair color.
