we americans are swimming in fresh plastics, fabrics and tons of added chemicals by legislative and actuarial fiat. we have to have large doses to combat this chemical attack on us. the continent has a different set of problems. in many ways, europe is much better off than we are. for one, no one has ever popped a 5 megaton nuke in your back yard like they were doing here when i was a kid.
