preparing for a cross country flight

I was diagnosed with low aldosterone a few months ago.I became so dehydrated that my EKG showed changes, and was hospitalized for a few days. I am doing better on most days, taking fludrocortisone, and have added Sea Salt water. I was supposed to get on a 5 hour plane trip today, but got scared and never boarded. I felt dehydrated from the rushing just to get to the airport! My doc thinks it fine to travel, but flying is dehydrating. It seems like people on this forum do travel. It scares me to think that I am stuck in an aluminum can, 33,000 feet in the air, and can not lay down if I feel ill. Does anyone have suggestions? Thank you!
