The trend in the last decade is to claim that carbs make you fat and fat makes you thin and that low-fat diets that are high in carbs will lead to obesity & diabetes.
Well here's a couple that's been eating more carb calories and less fat in the last decade than practically anyone and they look nothing but lean, healthy, and happy:

So where are all the obese & diabetic longterm high-carb/low-fat dieters if high-carb diets makes you fat and crippled with diabetes? I just don't see em.
