Green tea allergy

Hello,

I read many good things about green tea, as a cleanser of the body

Whenever i drink green tea, i feel really, really great. Unfortunately soon after a huge migraine and stomach upset starts. It always lasts 1-2 days.

The headache and stomach upset are so bad, that it's not worth the initial great feeling.

I tried a few brands, even a organic one, and i always get these symptoms. However, i found that some brands are worse than others.

Apparently, according to some websites i found, several people get such reactions on green tea.

But i could not find a proper explanation what causes these reactions. Some says, its caffeine, or tannins, or histamine, or detox, pesticides, etc.

From my experience, i'm sure its not the caffeine, or detox effect.

I read somewhere that some people get these reaction only with some green tea brands not with others, although they did not mention which brand does not cause these.

And i also read that japanese green tea would also not cause these.

If I could find a brand which would not cause these, i would love to continue drinking green tea.

Anyone a suggestion?
