My Seb Derm is back with a vengeance! Help!
I have had issues with seb derm since high school (I'm 29 now). I've gotten it to go away a few times only to have the medicines stop working. Last summer, things got really bad, and I switched from my antifungal cream which stopped working (Promiseb), and decided to try apple cider vinegar. That's been going very well, but still left a little redness, so I tried using dead
Sea Salt . I bought the actual salt and mixed it with water and used that to wash my face, and I also bought soap made from dead sea mud. That combination worked really well for a few months, but now I'm back to square one.
The areas that get affected the worst are my upper lip and the sides of my nose. Last summer, before I went on the apple cider vinegar, those areas got very red, and the scales were very tough to peel off, almost like trying to peel glue off something. Recently, this has returned, with the red marks in the same position as last summer, if I recall correctly.
Does anyone have any clues as to why dead
Sea Salt would stop working? I thought that was supposed to be one of the best treatments. Could the heat be affecting my condition? Or could I have developed
Psoriasis or another condition on top of my seb derm?
