I found this site last December. My last physical was in Nov. Dr. wanted to up my asthma plan, thereby making me MORE dependent on meds/steroid. She couldn't explain my never ending thrush problem and that the weekly diflucan stopped working. Blood work showed no allergies so I took matters in to my own hands. I stopped the Advair in Nov. Came here and discovered much about Candida, did two rounds of Lufenuron, got rid of the moldy taste coming from my lungs for years. Still needed the albuterol, looked at my blood work results again and researched what Eosinophils were. They are related to parasites. One in particular causes asthma like symptoms, Ascarsis, Bingo!!! I am now on my second round of Valbenza and it has made a difference.

I think I will always be sensitive to mold, not sure I can overcome all the damage the ascarsis did in my lungs, I'm thinking they have been in there for years, BUT I am off the steroids so I should be able to get the candida under control again.

When my tongue was really bad, I used Gentian Violet to fight back the thrush. It stains your mouth purple but worked. B-vitamins too.
