I see. Kind of like if you were bleeding from the anus, but they insisted on a stool test for blood cause they don't trust the red color if that was the problem. They need to justify it with records, diagnostics, and confirmations. It gives them a sense of control more than likely, a way to concretely prove something, an ultimate diagnosis.
