Re: Thyroid
Doctors dont look at you as an individual usually, they look at you as a member of a group and as long as they do it will be hard for them to help you.
Your thyroid labwork likely came back in normal lab range which means that it fell within the acceptable norm of r a group of people. BUT we are all different and a single point of T3 can mean the world of difference in how you feel.
The lab numbers really only have value to you when compared to your historical lab data.
In other words, think of a time when you didnt feel so run down and tired, what were your lab values then? That would be historical data thats yours and has value and worth comparing to.
Also keep in mind that your energy cycle and proper nerve function which ties directly into mental illness like depression, apathy, dementia etc is largely influences by a host of B vitamins. If Iodine/selenium doesnt solve your depression/apathy/lethargy, the next place I recommend looking is to the B vits, especially B12, B9 and niacin.
