Re: How do you cure H.Pylori? HELP!
Hi Bright,
25 grams per day is not a particularly "high" [oral] dose at all. If you take a look at the chart in the article by Dr. Cathcart previously referenced, you'll note that successful results, dealing with bacterial infections, typically have Bowel Tolerances from a low of 30 grams per day to a high of over 200 grams per day. So I agree, I am not surprised that you got little to no benefit from such [relatively] small [oral] doses.
My personal experience, over the past 20 years, with daily Bowel Tolerance dosing [beginning in 1994 with 10 to 15 grams per day, to my current 75 to 100 grams per day], has taught me that if one is patient and persistent, one's Bowel Tolerance will very gradually increase, as one's GI tract gets cleaned out/up. If you were consistent over a period of months [as you wrote], I would not know how or why your Bowel Tolerance would remain the same. The alternative to oral ascorbic acid would be either intravenous ascorbate and/or true liposomal ascorbate. The alternative to ascorbate, I would not want to contemplate, e.g. antibiotics.
Thanks for sharing, Bright, and I wish you the very best of success in resolving your health malady!
Sincerely,
David
