Should I get an upper endoscopy?

My entire life I've suffered from IBS-C, but the past 4 months I've had severe nausea every time I eat anything. Usually before I even can finish eating much. I have to lay down for hours because I feel so bad. The only thing that brings relief is Prevacid and Dexilant. My doctor just dismissed the nausea as acid reflux, even though I don't have heartburn. I want to know why the acid is refluxing.

I've also been severely underweight for a couple of years. I'm a twenty year old guy, 5'7ish, and only weigh about 105 pounds. I know that a upper endoscopy can check for several things including SIBO and Celiac disease. I also get bloated after I eat anything.

The problem is that I don't have health insurance and will have to burn a credit card. I'm afraid nothing will be wrong and I will have wasted the money. I know taking a biopsy to look for celiac and SIBO will jack up the price. I'm seriously just seeking any advice about my whole situation.

-Thank you.
