newly diagnosed

Hi there! I had some blood work come back as lipase slightly elevated at 94, then two days later a retest put the levels at 99, otherwise everything was normal (they tested also liver and cbc). I have a full abdominal and pelvic sonogram this Wednesday, and a doctor appointment next Tuesday. Some background: moderate to heavy drinker for 15 years, smoked on and off for at least half of those. Quit both vices within the last three months (still had alcohol 2-4 drinks/week prior to last weeks bloodtest - none at all now). I started Iodine therapy and amino acid replacement therapy within the last several months. I believe it is my gall bladder backing up my pancreas so I am doing flushes.
My question (for now) is: Should I stop Iodine and amino therapies until I get more information on this pancreatitis issue?
