Re: 183821: Treatment For Myiasis, Systemic Roundworms, & Related Skin Infections

ICU,

How long can strongyloides stercoralis survive in the wild/free living?

How many generations?
Can it go on and on if there are specific survival requirements provided?

Strongyloides stercoralis is endemic to some southeastern states in the U.S.

I suppose this is due to the temp./humidity/food sources available, as in bacteria and fungi.

How long can these things live in the southeast U.S. away from a host.
Generations? Indefinitely?

The answer to this question is extremely important before embarking upon your protocol.

And I'll throw in another wrinkle. If a spouse is infected and is in denial is there any chance at all for someone to gain freedom from the infestation as long as someone stays with someone else who refuses treatment? This question relates as well to the overall environment, as in southeastern states that are endemic to strongyloides stercoralis.

This is very tricky territory from what I can see.
What do you say about all I've presented in this post?
Your input is appreciated.
