Yes, I tried it long before it was sold as a candida remedy online, as part of a multi-drug combo. Purchased from a vet supply, and they kept asking me if I owned a kennel, as they had "special discounts" for kennels (that's how much I was taking). I remember it helped for a few months then I became resistant, and had to go on a different combo.
I think it's worth trying as part of a cocktail, but not a mono therapy.
I know someone else that got a clear benefit of healing candida lesions in combo with Azoles. Don't expect it to be a cure though.
