Re: Diabetes 3?
I never was a fan of extreme diets. They seem more towards a religion than reason for me. I was a vegetarian though, I still eat them; but for me the life of good food; real nourishment is about taste, colors, texture too; and ORIGIN of the food.
Eating only fat / meat would be to uniform for my spirit.
Also for the exercise bit.. and brain; some carbs needed, according to two bad diets;

Back to the sugar brain; there is much more to this, I believe;
"Rape oil was widely used in animal feeds throughout England between 1986 and 1991, whereafter it was thrown out. Do you remember reading about the cows, pigs, and sheep that went blind, lost their minds, attacked people, and had to be shot? The experts blamed their disease on scrapie - a disease first thought to be linked to “slow viruses,” and later to prion protein crystals. Their resulting brain holes caused the animals to behave erratically. But, when the rape seed oil was removed from their diets, their “scrapie” disappeared. Today, “scrapie-like” illness seems to be spreading rapidly throughout the world in humans in the form of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CID). It makes you wonder how much of this may be associated with brain damage from dietary canola, doesn’t it?"
