Need Help with Lyme

Baka, my dog, was diagnosed with advanced Lyme about a month ago. At first I thought he was going to get away without getting sick...but then things really started to happen...and some of them, I now realize, started quite a while ago. (See the log below)

The vet says lyme can cause neurological symptoms, and I understand he has to be on Antibiotics for a month, but I don't understand why after being on treatment for over a week I am seeing more tremors, not less.

He is 12 years old and in pretty good health, but he has Hasimotos.

Can all this by from lyme? What should I do that I am not doing now? I am frantic.


5/11/13 No Lyme in blood work

6/1/13 Notation of jaw tremor in symptom log (log updated
in July)

11/11/13 Jaw tremors are much better.

1/5/14 Jaw tremors back in full force. On this day he had
at least six. I started chiropractic treatments.

1/7/14 One very small tremor this evening. Another later
on- basically they are much better

This winter however I noticed his hind leg shaking slightly. It happens consistently but not all the time. There is no sign of weakness however.

1/13/14 One slight jaw tremor…and then a stronger on but
but from this point on they are softer and less
frequent

3/10/14 He was standing on the bed and one of his front legs
suddenly shook violently for about 10 seconds.
Afterward he was normal.

3/22/14 He had blood work that showed he had has a late
stage exposure to Lyme disease

4/1/14 I felt his lower body tremble like an electric
current was passing through him for about 10
seconds. It stopped when he shifted his weight.
Afterward he was normal

4/25/14 I saw violent trembling in his hind legs for about
10 seconds. Afterwards he was normal. I started him
on Antibiotics for Lyme

5/3/14 I saw a tremor after signs of muscle weakness in his
left leg on his morning walk. It was about half the
strength of the one on the 25th. It happened on the
right upon standing a few hours later. Then again
a little later on the left.

I have not seen the jaw tremor for over a week.

Started Dr. Patel’s herbs and homeopathic remedy for
tremors.
